Michael Sartor graduated with his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Detroit in 1990 and continued on to attain his MBA in Corporate Finance in 2000.

Michael has been in the banking business for over 33 years.  Starting out at Michigan National as a VP of the Financial and Accounting Division.  He then moved to Flagstar Bank Corporation where he became the Vice President of Financial Operations, Risk Management and Marketing. He later decided to relocate to Ohio and became The VP of the Transfer Pricing Unit and Marketing Division at National City Bank.  Through his banking career he was instrumental in the creation and implementation of a multitude of processes and systems.  He also focused heavily on communication for all team members at all levels of the bank. He stressed the importance of understanding the client’s needs and not just simply preforming functions.  

He used his 14 years of banking knowledge to create his own Mortgage Company in 2004 called Gold Medal Mortgage.   The main offices is in Avon, Ohio, which services the entire states of Michigan and Ohio.  

Today Gold Medal Mortgage and its team members continue to build and grow to ensure they are all delivering the best Mortgage loan experience to their clients.  We celebrated our 20th year in business this year and are excited to continue to serve and educate those in his community.
